Asheville Swimming Holes

Eric from Push was kind enough to take me out to some of the local swimming holes...

1st angle of 1st waterfall

1st waterfall from entry point. was able to walk behind it!

this cascade was featured in Last of the Mohicans.  VIDEO

Eric and I parted ways and walked past triple falls. no swimming.

drove to a different river and saw the whalebone.

small cascade at whalebone. saw my 1st snake of the trip

saved the best for last. long hike, but found it. jumped off the tree

deep spot in the shallow creek. skinny dipped all to myself

so to recap - swam at 4 spots, saw 7 waterfalls. all in the course of 6 hours. not bad for a days work.
