final farm days

Indian night was out of this world!

no curbside recycling - made a trip to the local recycling center

got a solo game in early one morning
brought ZEP out for a game on a windy day

took a walk on the nature trail
drove around Wilson Lake and saw this dreaded sign

we saw some two turkeys near the end of our loop
watched Genetic Roulette the night before I shoved off to Wichita
Many thanks go out to Brodie and Bianca for always welcoming me into their home. I always hope I leave it brighter than the way I found it. I could be back before you know it.

Didn't take too long for Brodie to get the tractor out.
he gave me a few pointers and I consolidated the burn pile
Sunday morning dawned with little wind, Brodie made the call, & we lit it up
the fire marshal came out a few days prior and issued our permit

OBSERVATIONS -
*there were a load of kids there that had never been on skates before.
*my favorite kid that kept falling and falling, finally took a trip to the hospital before the session was over
*the place was packed

trips to the BIG city

On Thursdays we drive to Wichita for the day. Zephyr has bowling and gymnastics and it serves as a time to visit friends and go to the health food stores. I take the car or borrow a car and strike out on my own for a few hours when possible.

ate a calzone at Garden Grill and grabbed take out for B & Z
One Thursday, Bianca was ill so Zep and I rolled into town all on our own!

parked the HONDA in its former spot and walked to BS for lunch w/ Will
I didn't know that Kansas Day is Jan 20th.

no SCHOOL lunch for Zep & I - we dined @ Delish Deli

popped in KMC to spy on Patrick's play practice and saw Kelly on the track
