world class facilities

wildlife bridge in MT - the 1st Kenny's ever seen

camp sandwich!

camped for the night below a dam...crystal clear waters

kenny overlooks the fast flowing agua

kenny got down by the waters, while I was up in the parking lot
after breaking camp we skated Whitefish, MT. ken front board

one bowl was off limits.... skunk-u-pied
at Polson, Ken laid into hella feeble variations
switch backside
switch frontside
this was a very popular trick back in my day....
this marks my tallest pivot fakie - polson's helmet looms
there were 3 old fellers in this car - happy to see someone in Polson
boosting big ollies - looks like a make...
but.......

St. Ignatius had colorful locals and fine concrete.

it wasn't quite like WILD WEST, but it was nice to boost over a hip again
always feels good to get over the stairs in the pool. Missoula, MT.

took me 4 goes to get a tailslide....

the volcano feels my pivot
It was quite amazing. We skated 4 world class skateparks in the span of 1 day and I looked it up. All 4 cities are line a valley and from the top to the bottom is only 137 miles... a little over two hours to drive the distance. It's hard to say which was my favorite because they were all so fun in their own respects.

We slept behind the natural food store in Missoula so there is no pic of Kenny's tent. The following day we broke out on HOT SPRINGS Tour 2012.

Glacier

many views at Glacier National Park
St Mary Falls....
the view towards the lake from the bridge
the bridge and launch point to the left
the water looked too good & nobody was around so I stripped down!
putting my pants back on...

waterfall after waterfall as we continued on to Virginia Falls

gorgeous

kept getting better the higher we got up..

stunning
Virginia Falls was worth the hike!

a solid 90 feet - loved it
on the way down, I was ready for another dip - back flip

road to the sun.... glacier valley

tunnel to the sun
got to the top of Logan Pass and saw a herd of rams
Kenny got his hobo bath on the road to the sun
frigid but refreshing

cars going by honking encouragement!

I filled the water bottle and got soaked....drying off...
the road past Logan Pass was closed for repairs... it just closed two days ago.... so we had to backtrack a bit, but it was all worth it..  lesson to be learned....check the park website before heading out for travel delays and road closures....   thanks JUSTIN for the tip.   see Justin's photos HERE

the road to Glacier

soaked at BOILING RIVER just outside the North Entrance in MT
we camped at the La Duke picnic area / the red sliver of rock to the right is the Devil's Slide!
I couldn't get the hot/cold mix right at the hot springs
directions to what we thought was the skatepark landed us at the BMX track
a quick pivot to fakie at the Bozeman park
we spent more time at the brand new BIG SKY park. mini burnside
Ryan Simonetti came down from his place in Great Falls, MT
Ryan blast a mighty melon over the main hip.
played a new BOXED version of farkle down on the river
Kenny got his 1st six of a kind!
the camp spot between Big Sky and Bozeman
ran into Chad Foreman and the Fallen fellas in Bozeman.
chad, jamie, tommy, and slash on motorcycles roll out following Hardy
chuggin up north towards Justin Beebe's recommendation of Glacier NP
we saw our bear.... Kenny was so lit up.. we pulled over and got a few pics as he ran back to the woods.
creekside camp the night before Glacier
